Insulated Hazardous Material Containers
SAFE Tank Insulated Up to 12 m²
The insulated hazardous material container SAFE Tank STI up to 12 m² storage area is suitable for the storage of environmentally hazardous media which must be stored at a controlled temperature and/or protected from moisture.
The insulated hazardous material container offers the possibility to store all container sizes - from drums to KTCs and small containers. The lockable design prevents unauthorised access by third parties.
Other useful SAFE system accessories facilitate the handling of hazardous substances.
Insulated Hazardous Material Container Combination 12 to 32 m²
With the insulated SAFE hazardous material container combinations, it is possible to create a large frost-proof outdoor storage area for the storage of temperature-sensitive hazardous materials in a timely manner.
Several individual containers can be combined up to a total area of 32 m². Electrical installation packages, heating and air-conditioning units, built-in shelves and other accessories enable the optimal storage of hazardous substances.
SAFE Tank ECO / CONTROL Insulated
A demand-controlled fan system is built into the insulated SAFE Tank ECO. When the door is opened, the fan is started automatically. After closing the door, the fan continues to run for 20 minutes.
Thanks to the demand-based fan control, permanent ventilation is not necessary, which results in significantly better energy efficiency.
Hazardous Material Containers for KTC / IBC Insulated
The insulated SAFE hazardous material containers for KTC and IBC were developed for the storage of drums and large containers up to 1,000 litres.
Made of coated and strip-galvanised steel, the interior and exterior of the hazardous material storage extends the service life due to the high level of corrosion protection.
In particular, this SAFE container is characterised by its insulated outer wall. The good insulation makes it possible to store hazardous substances that are sensitive to moisture and temperature.
Which Hazardous Material Container is the Right Choice?
There are some factors to consider when deciding which insulated hazmat storage is the best:
Firstly, an important aspect is the intended installation site. What are the soil conditions like? Is it a water protection area? Are there buildings in the immediate vicinity and what distances must be maintained?
Secondly, the requirements of the Water Resources Act are of great importance. What substances are being stored and can galvanised welded collecting trays be used or are additional PE inserts required?
And, of course, the quantity of the hazardous substance is an important factor to consider. The collection volume of the sump tray depends on the quantities and container sizes. Regulations on storing hazardous substances together must be observed.
